HEPA Pedal Assembly

The HEPA (Hall Effect Pedal Assembly) is required for the -P option Hairball. If you do not have this pedal assembly, the -P option will not work and the -P option is required to use this pedal.

The HEPA eliminates the annoying wear out of regular pot boxes by replacing the pot box, its related mounting and accelerator pedal linkage. In many cases it can be easier to mount than the alternative pot box adaptation to the original vehicle throttle cable. Reports from the field have mentioned that among others it fits especially well in Sparrows and Honda Insight conversions.

The Hall Effect pedal assembly is an automotive accelerator pedal assembly with two isolated Hall Effect sensors. It includes dual return springs and has convenient mounting points. It will likely require a custom bracket for mounting and may not fit all cars. Please check the extra photos below that were taken alongside a 6" caliper to get an idea of fit options. In cases where this pedal does not fit well, it is usually the left offset of the pedal to the mounting area that makes the top of the unit interfere with the car's heater assembly.
